A Voice That’s Always Loved a Good Story
About Amanda Davidson
Amanda Davidson’s journey into audiobook narration started the same way many great stories do: with a spark. Hers came in fourth grade, when the bookmobile rolled into her small Ohio town. One checkout (Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase) and she was hooked for life. That first late-night reading session lit a fire for storytelling that’s never gone out.
Raised in a rural town and now living on a hobby farm with her husband and two dogs, Amanda built a life grounded in creativity, curiosity, and connection. Her love of books eventually led her to the classroom, where she spent years as a secondary language arts teacher, reading aloud to students and helping them fall in love with literature. One day, after an emotionally charged reading, a student said, “You should do those audiobook things.” And so she did.
